1 Corinthians 3: 1-2 God gave you milk when you needed it.  But now, mature in your faith and go to solid food in your spiritual journey. (Hebrews 5:12-14). This website is for that mission.1 Corinthians 3: 1-2 God gave you milk when you needed it.  But now, mature in your faith and go to solid food in your spiritual journey. (Hebrews 5:12-14). This website is for that mission.

Applying Spiritual Principles:

The Holy Spirit prompts me to do research and pray before writing articles on spiritual issues for today's believers. One of the first articles I wrote was about how God views a person who believes and accepts Jesus as their Savior, not some Christians' view that I have encountered, that they are still sinners. That article is on this website as well as other articles. We aim to equip you with practical biblical truths for real-world application.

Distinctive Approach

The difference between my spiritual teaching and that of many others is that I teach the Book of Revelation and emphasize what Scripture reveals about what is coming upon the earth, the fate of unbelievers, and even the spiritual condition of Christians who attend church as a religious ritual but do not practice the faith of Jesus in their daily lives.

My understanding comes from both the responses of Christians to God's judgments described in Revelation and their biblical belief concerning righteousness. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I believe I receive insight into why people respond as they do. This enables me to address the spiritual stumbling blocks that keep them from practicing the faith of Jesus. I write articles with the hope that people will read them, search other parts of the Bible where it appears, pray about them, discuss them within their fellowship groups, and, most importantly, put these biblical truths into practice in their lives.

Join the Journey

The journey Florence and I are on is to put into practice what we have learned in our spiritual growth and to also incorporate a prevention mindset in all areas of our lives. Those areas include: biblical identity, peace, purpose, security, relationships, health, joy, and finances.  This is not a medical holistic approach to living but a spiritual holistic approach to spiritual maturity by putting those Biblical principles into practice.

This website will address all those areas of what we believe the Bible says about each of these areas. The Bible talks about what profited a person with certain actions. Here, what we present are some of those profits: eternal life, inner peace, joy, and freedom.

Tidbits

In this constantly changing world, certainly not for the good, as we see on the news,  we cut the cord on our TV  provider and installed a TV antenna on our roof, saving hundreds of dollars a month.  We get around  40 channels and have the computer hooked to the TV if we want to see a movie, sports game, etc. We pay a subscription for a month or so and then stop.

When purchasing anything,  getting a service, or repair done on a house, car, appliance,  etc get 3 quotes to get the best bang for the buck.  Please understand that this is not personal, but business. Learn the art of negotiation.  Make sure you get everything they said they would do in writing.

If you can learn how to do things yourself. it will save a lot of money and give you a sense of accomplishment. YouTube is a great resource.

Get a credit card with a cash back feature, as Citi  Bank does.  Learn how to discipline yourself in making money with the credit card.  For instance,  before buying something on the card, have the money set aside to pay for it. But you have a month to accumulate money before a minimum amount with interest is due. The cash back will build as you use it.  Pay the full amount you charged, which avoids paying interest and builds a cash back fund that can be used to pay on a future credit.

If you use a product on an ongoing basis, like in my case, Zyrtec,  I found what the cost per pill was and compared that to Walmart and the internet.  I found I saved a lot of money; buying on the internet was cheaper, and of course I make sure they are not expired and are shipped free.

Good idea every year when homeowners and vehicle insurance policies are about to renew, to shop around and get a quote from different companies. Also, ask about "bundling both policies to see if you could save some money.
